Pizza rolls

Whether you have kids, you’re hosting a party and need quick and delicious party food ideas, or just love pizza, you’ve probably cooked frozen pizza rolls in the oven a time or two.

They are really one of the easiest snacks to make because you can buy them frozen in a bag and store them in the freezer until you’re ready to have some. Then you can make the whole bag or just a few at a time. Try these frozen samosas in the air fryer. Just as easy and convenient as pizza rolls.

Ingredients You’ll Need

Pizza rolls – 1 bag of frozen pizza rolls. You can use any kind that you like. Totino’s or Amy’s Pizza Snacks are the most popular brands you will find. Safeway select and Kroger’s have their own versions.

Equipment Information

  • Air fryer: I use this 4-quart basket-style air fryer. It’s large enough to fit a meal for 4-6. But some things need more space in the air fryer basket, so they cook evenly.
  • Kitchen tongs: It’s very easy to remove food from your air fryer with kitchen tongs. I use these kitchen tongs that are silicon coated so they don’t scratch the interior.

Expert Tips to Follow

  • Keep a bag of pizza rolls in the freezer for a quick snack. You can cook as few or as many as you want.
  • You can make up to 25 in the air fryer at one time, depending on the size of your basket. For more than that, you’ll have to cook them in multiple batches.
  • It’s best not to stack the pizza rolls. Cook them in a single layer.
  • Do not thaw the pizza rolls before cooking.

Air Fry at 390°F (200°C) for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. Let them cool off for a minute or two. The inside filling will be like molten lava. Plate and enjoy.

Step Three: Homemade Option

We don’t have a recipe for making the rolls yourself, although it’s quite easy: just get wonton wrappers, pizza sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and roll it all up.

Cook at 390°F (200°C) for 6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. Shake the basket carefully so they don’t break open.
