Air Fryer Caramelized Bananas are a simple yet indulgent treat transforms ripe bananas into a golden, caramelized delight with just a touch of sugar and a dash of spice. Ready in minutes, these caramelized bananas are perfect on their own, over ice cream, or as a topping for pancakes.
Helpful Tips
- Choose Ripe Bananas: Choose ripe bananas that are just turning spotty. They are sweet and firm enough to hold their shape during cooking.
- Leave the Peel On: Leaving the peel on helps the bananas hold their shape and also helps with clean-up.
- Watch Closely: Air fryers can vary, so keep an eye on the bananas to prevent overcooking. They should be golden brown and caramelized, not burnt.
