Ingredients

  • 4 wild caught salmon filets 5 oz each, frozen or fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon (0.5 g) dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.8 g) garlic pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g) salt

Instructions

  • Spray the basket, then place fillets, spaced out, in the basket of the air fryer.
  • Mix the seasonings together in a bowl and use half to season the tops of the fillets. Lightly spray with olive oil.
  • Cook on 390 degrees for 6 minutes. Turn the salmon over, season the tops, lightly spray, and continue cooking for another 6 minutes.

Notes

  • If cooking from fresh the salmon will only take 7-8 minutes total to cook.
  • Salmon is done when it reaches 145°F. Always check the internal temperature with a digital thermometer to be sure.
  • If your fillets were thicker, you may need to continue cooking for a few additional minutes.
  • You can use skin on or skin off salmon. Finish cooking on the skin up side for maximum crispiness.

All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
