Air Fryer Halloumi is a delicious and simple recipe that combines the squeaky, salty goodness of halloumi cheese with the convenience and efficiency of an air fryer.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes.
Brush or spray the halloumi slices with olive oil on both sides.
Place them in the air fryer basket, not overlapping. Cook for 6 minutes, until golden brown on the top. If they aren’t golden on the underside, carefully flip them and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden on all sides.
Transfer to a plate and serve immediately.
Notes
You can cook as few or as many slices as you want at a time, without overlapping.
I don’t find it necessary to flip them over, but if you do be careful because they can easily break apart.
All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
