Instructions
Mix the seasonings together in a bowl. Season the steak on both sides.
Preheat your air fryer on 400˚F for about 3 minutes to heat the basket.
Place the steaks in the air fryer basket, trying not to overlap them.
Cook on 400° F for 8 minutes (for medium), flipping it once about 2/3 of the way through cooking. To achieve your desired degree of doneness, check the internal temperature of the meat throughout cooking. For rare, remove at 125˚F to 130˚F (52 to 54˚C). For medium-rare, remove at 135˚F (57˚C). For medium, remove at 140˚F (60˚C).
When the appropriate internal temperature has been reached, transfer the steaks to a plate, tent with tin foil, and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Buy a nicely marbled steak for the best tenderness and flavor.
Preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes to get a nice sear on the steak once it's added.
All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
