Air Fryer Stuffing is a beloved holiday side dish, made with dried bread cubes, chicken broth, onions, celery, seasonings, and butter. The air fryer gets the edges of the bread crispy and delicious.
Add the bread cubes to a mixing bowl. Pour in the broth and melted butter. Stir gently and let the liquid be soaked up.
Add in the chopped celery, onion, sage, thyme, salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Pour the stuffing directly into the air fryer basket, if the bottom tray doesn’t have large holes. If you can’t put it directly into the basket, put it into an air fryer safe pan and set the pan in the basket.
Cook at 350°F (176°C) for 15 minutes, stirring twice during cooking. If you like your stuffing more toasted, continue cooking until it’s to your liking.
Let the stuffing cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Preheat your air fryer before cooking. This helps achieve that crispy texture on the outside of the stuffing.
To prevent sticking, you can lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray before placing the stuffing inside.
You can prepare the stuffing mixture in advance and refrigerate it until you're ready to cook. This makes it a great option for meal prepping or for busy family gatherings at Thanksgiving.
All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
