Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 (2) boneless skinless chicken breasts appox 6 oz each
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (59 ml) BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  • Mix together the paprika, salt, and pepper. Season both sides of the chicken.
  • Place the chicken in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 360° F for 16 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through cooking. After 16 minutes, baste the chicken with BBQ sauce and continue cooking for another 2 minutes. Flip and baste the other side, cook 2 more minutes.
  • Transfer the chicken to a cutting board. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • As the size of chicken varies greatly, it’s best to rely on a meat thermometer to determine when the chicken is done.
  • If your chicken breasts are large, you can slice them in half to get 2 6-oz pieces.

All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
