Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 medium to large baking potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (6 g) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) ground black pepper
  • Garnishes: butter green onion, chives, shredded cheese

Instructions

  • Clean and pat dry the potatoes.
  • Coat the outside with olive oil and sprinkle liberally with salt. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 390°F (200°C) for 30 minutes, turning halfway. Squeeze the potato or piece it with a toothpick. If it still has a bit of give, cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove from the air fryer and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Cut them in half or cut a slit along the top. Add your preferred toppings and serve.

All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
