These Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Ditch the deep-fryer and get the same addictive taste, sans the guilt.
Pour the wedges into the air fryer basket. Spray evenly with olive oil. If you don’t have an olive oil mister, place the wedges in a bowl and toss with the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook on 380°F for 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. Do not overcrowd the basket. Keep them in a single layer, not touching so air can circulate.
After 12 minutes, is up if they aren't crispy enough, cook for another 5 minutes and check again.
Notes
Depending on the size of your sweet potato wedges they may need more cooking time. I ended up adding 5 minutes to one of my batches.
Cook until desired crispiness is achieved.
If your air fryer tends to run hot, check the wedges after 10 minutes so as not to overcook them.
All air fryers have different wattage and may cook at different rates. You may need to adjust the time or temp for the best results.
