Notes
You can grate some onion into your meat mixture. It adds flavor and moisture to the patties.
Place the chicken patties in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to firm up before cooking.
You can coat the patties in an egg wash and breadcrumbs if you want. That's an optional step for crispy chicken patties. Spray with oil before cooking.
If you want to add cheese, wait until the patties are fully cooked. Place the cheese on the patties and close the air fryer. Let them sit there for a minute. The residual heat will melt the cheese without worrying about it being blown around during cooking.
