Air Fryer Crispy Breaded Mushrooms

Crispy air fryer breaded mushrooms are crunchy on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside.

8 ounces baby mushrooms 1/3 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 1 teaspoon dry rub


Clean the mushrooms and remove the long stem.


Make 3 dipping stations: a plate for flour and salt, a bowl for the egg and milk (whisked together), and a bowl for the breadcrumbs and dry rub.


First coat the mushrooms in the flour. Then dip them in the egg mixture, shaking off any excess. Then roll them in the breadcrumbs. 


Place the mushrooms on a tray. Spray evenly with oil. Cook in the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes shaking the basket half way through.

Serve these crispy mushrooms with a side of garlic aioli or ranch dressing.
