Ingredients You Need
- Small head broccoli – One small head of broccoli is about 3 cups of florets
- Olive oil – Don’t skip the oil or the broccoli can come out dry and over toasted
- Ranch seasoning – You can use seasoning from a canister or a packet, which ever you have
- Grated Parmesan cheese – Use high-quality Parmesan for the best flavor.
- Lemon – A little lemon juice adds a bit of brightness.
Equipment Information
- Air fryer: I use the 5.5-quart Ninja MaxXL basket-style air fryer. Angie uses this 5-quart Cosori Pro LE air fryer. We also both occasionally use the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill that has an air fryer setting.
- Kitchen tongs: It’s very easy to remove food from your air fryer with kitchen tongs. I use these kitchen tongs that are silicon coated so they don’t scratch the interior.
Helpful Tips
- Ensure each broccoli floret is evenly coated with the olive oil and ranch seasoning mix for the best flavor and crispiness.
- For an extra crispy texture, preheat your air fryer for a few minutes before adding the broccoli.
- Giving the basket a good shake halfway through cooking ensures even crisping on all sides.
- Feel free to tweak the amount of ranch seasoning or lemon juice to suit your taste preferences.
- Cook longer for softer broccoli. If you don’t like charred ends, lower the temperature to 370 degrees and cook for 10 minutes.
