Ingredients
 

  • 2 pounds (0.9 kg) flank or skirt steak
  • 1/4 cup (62 g) orange juice
  • 1/4 cup (61 g) lime juice
  • 1/4 cup (58 g) soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1 g) ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) cayenne pepper optional, for heat
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lime juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, black pepper, cayenne pepper (if using), and olive oil to create the marinade.
  • Place the flank or skirt steak in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well coated. Marinate the steak in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
